These stupid little things get into everything. Several years ago my parents had to have their poured patio removed because these cute little critters tunneled under it to the point it caused it to lower several inches and eventually cracked in two. They ruin expensive landscaping uproot garden plants and even make their way under retaining walls home foundations and decks. A rodent as is a rat or a mouse.

Use gravel so the chipmunk can t dig a hole in the same place. Bait the trap using any type of fruit nuts or seeds. Use a trowel to pour the gravel into the hole until it fills up to the top. Gravel is more difficult for chipmunks to dig through since it doesn t move around as easily.
