Pour club soda or cold water onto the carpet covering an area about one and one half times the size of the stain.
Clean a stain out of a wool carpet.
Sponge with cold water and blot dry.
Using a clean white cloth sponge the stain with the mixture applying a little bit at a time and blotting frequently with a dry cloth until the stain disappears.
If you re working with a particularly stubborn stain you can treat it with a stain solution first.
